So say the great comedians but if you fail to deliver on the promises you make on behalf of your business through social media and you could become a laughing stock.

The informality of social media can be a minefield and failure to deliver on a promise can spark a tirade of unfavourable comments. The message is clear – make sure you can deliver what you say you can deliver, guarding against the dangers of prompting negative comments about you and your business for the world to see. If the worst happens and negative comments arise, addressing them quickly and constructively can help prevent any long-term damage being done to your business reputation.
